Career at The Cigna Group

We’re dedicated to improving the health and vitality of those we serve. Through our divisions, Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth Health Services, we work to enhance the lives of our clients, customers, and patients.

Together with our colleagues around the world and our 190+ million customer relationships, we drive growth and improve lives.

Here, we believe relationships matter and we build ours on respect, empathy, and trust.

Remote, Hybrid and On-Site Work Arrangements
We have several remote work opportunities available throughout the organization which allow employees to work remotely 100% of the time.

We also have positions categorized as hybrid, which benefit from more face-to-face collaboration, connectivity, and cross-enterprise integration. While there are many different ways these positions are treated, all require the majority of employees’ time spent working in person with the remainder spent working remotely.

A small percentage of our positions are on site which require the employee to work at a designated company location 100% of the time.

If you are unsure what the position you are considering is categorized as, carefully review the job description, and talk with your recruiter or hiring manager about the expectations for the role.

Employee Benefits

At The Cigna Group, everything we do is dedicated to improving the health and vitality of those we serve.  Not just for our clients and customers, but for our people too. Our employees are the collective force that continues to drive our growth and improve the lives of the people we serve.

Medical Benefits

We offer five core medical plan options that cover in-network preventive care. This includes well child visits, prenatal care, physicals, immunizations, and cancer screenings at $0.

If enrolled, you have an opportunity to earn wellness incentives – up to $800 for employees and $500 for covered spouses/domestic partners.

All plan options include integrated pharmacy benefits, too! There is no charge or deductible for most generic, preventive medications.

Dental and Vision

We offer two dental plan options for employees to choose from. Both options cover preventive care at no cost.

Our vision plan covers routine eye exams and eye wear (glasses and contacts).  The plan covers both in-network and out-of-network services. Corrective lenses, frames, and contact lenses are covered every 12 months.

The plan does not cover both contact lenses and frames in the same benefit year.

Global Wellness Challenge

The Cigna Group supports an annual Global Wellness Challenge for all employees. Participants track exercise and other wellness activities in this 6-week, team-based event designed to improve health and vitality.

Preventive Care

If enrolled in one of the medical plans, employees and covered dependents can receive their annual flu shot, biometric screening, and all immunizations and preventive care covered at no additional cost.

Many of our offices host flu shot and biometric screening events on site, making it simpler for employees to receive preventive care support.

Employee Assistance Program

Confide Behavioral Health Navigator SM is our enhanced employee assistance program (EAP).  Confide delivers personalized concierge-level service to help you get the support you need when you need it.

Confide is a confidential benefit for employees and their household members to help solve personal issues and better balance their life.

Educational Development Program

At The Cigna Group we believe in removing financial barriers for our employees to gain new skills and accomplish their career goals. That’s why our educational development program offers access to tuition free or partially funded learning opportunities.  With this program, employees can complete eligible degrees or certificates, get support in finishing high school or preparing for college, and much more! When you accept a position with us, you get access to this program on day one of your employment. If you are actively interviewing, ask your recruiter for more information.
